From Roll Paper to 6 oz Double Wall Paper Cup: A Complete Making Line for Syria
A customer in Syria bought a complete line to make 6 oz double wall paper cups, from roll paper printing and die cutting to cup forming. Both the inner cup and the outer sleeve are printed. Here is how we chose the machines, in five simple steps.

What the Customer Wanted to Make
We first wrote down what the customer needed:
- Cup size: 6 oz, for coffee, tea and other hot drinks
- Double wall: an inner cup with an outer sleeve around it
- Inner cup: printed paper, about 210 GSM
- Outer sleeve: printed paper with a teal watercolor design
- Print and cut the paper in its own factory
Five Machines, Each with One Job
The cup is made in two stages. First, the paper is printed and cut into fans. Then the fans are formed into cups. We recommended machines for each stage.
Stage 1 · Paper preparation
Printing Machine
Prints the cup artwork on roll paper.
Die Cutting Machine
Cuts the printed paper into fan shapes.
Waste Removal Machine
Removes the scrap and leaves clean fans.
MYC-DW100 Cup Sleeve Machine
Takes each inner cup from the MYC-OCM100 and wraps the printed sleeve around it. This makes it a double wall cup.
MYC-OCM100 Paper Cup Machine
Makes the inner cup from the printed fan. The inner cup is a normal single wall cup, so our simple model is enough for this job.
Production Process
First, the printing machine prints the artwork on roll paper. Next, the die cutting machine cuts the printed paper into fans, and the waste removal machine separates the fans from the scrap.
The MYC-OCM100 then forms the inner cups. These cups pass through the transfer station to the MYC-DW100, which adds the printed outer sleeves to make double wall cups. Finally, the finished cups arrive at the collecting table.

Measuring the Finished Cup
We measured the finished cups with a tape measure.
These sizes help the customer choose matching lids and keep future cups the same size.
